U.S. Government Announces $1.5 Million Grant For Psychedelics Research

Research support for psychedelic medicine continues to gain acceptance at the federal level, as the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) announces a funding grant for research proposals on psychedelic medicine. Under the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), three notices of funding opportunities were published this week, calling for research projects focused on how psychedelics can be used for substance use disorders (SUDs).
