Support for research into psychedelic medicine continues to gain acceptance at the federal level, as the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) announces a grant opportunity for research proposals on psychedelic medicine. Under the auspices of the Department of Health and Human Services and the National Institutes of Health (NIH), three funding opportunity notices were published this week, calling for the submission of research projects focused on how psychedelics can be used to treat substance use disorders (SUDs).
