The countdown to the 3rd The Clinic of Change Scientific Conference—scheduled for April 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the PLMJ Auditorium in Lisbon—is also being covered in the press. Following the announcement of the international and national speakers who will be attending this edition of the conference, it is now the turn of the media—both specialized and general interest—to cover the program.
Titled José Rodrigues dos Santos and David Nutt in a conversation about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, the news platform Sapo previews one of the most anticipated moments of the conference—the conversation between Portuguese writer and journalist José Rodrigues dos Santos, who in his latest book delves into the mysteries of consciousness and explores the renaissance of psychedelic science, and British psychiatrist and neuropsychopharmacologist David J. Nutt, a professor at Imperial College London.
“This time, David Nutt will be joined by a well-known figure here: journalist and writer José Rodrigues dos Santos, who, in his book *O Sexto Sentido* (October 2025), addressed the topic of the therapeutic use of psychedelics, and who, back in February, participated in a discussion on the subject atJúlio de Matos Hospital. Now, the two will sit down to discuss what is known and the potential these therapies open up, the frontiers of consciousness and science, and the path they see for mental health,” reads the article by journalist Joana Petiz.
Medjournal and Atlas da Saúde, two platforms dedicated to disseminating health-related content, are also promoting the conference, which this year is being held under the theme “Innovation and Scientific Evidence: The Impact of Psychedelics on Mental Health.”
Now that the venue has reached capacity, registration is now open to watch the conference online. Find out how HERE.
