As for the newspaper Diário de Notícias highlighted the study conducted by The Clinic of Change, in partnership with national and international institutions, on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy applied to patients with treatment-resistant depression, emphasizing the positive results obtained in a supervised clinical setting. The feature appeared online, as well as in the newspaper’s print edition.
The publication highlighted the scientific and academic aspects of the work, which was carried out with the guidance of leading international experts such as David J. Nutt and Celia Morgan, helping to boost the media visibility and scientific credibility of this emerging therapeutic approach in Portugal.
Next was the SAPO website, which featured the same Portuguese study, further highlighting the media attention surrounding new therapeutic approaches in the field of mental health and the growing body of scientific evidence associated with these interventions.
The media outlets Medjournal and Atlas da Saúde reported on the findings of a study conducted by The Clinic of Change, which revealed significant improvements in the mental health of 98 patients following a ketamine-assisted psychotherapy program.
The same data was also featured on the radio program “Fricção Científica” on RTP Antena 1. The Portuguese public broadcaster noted that “the study by the Clinic of Change, in partnership with Portuguese and British academic institutions, including ISPA and Imperial College London, concluded that psychedelic therapy is safe and effective.”
